Bola Tinubu (APC Presidential Candidate) and Atiku Abubakar (PDP) will, respectively, unveil their running mates in the 2023 Presidential Election.

According to reports, Tinubu will end his consultations with APC Governors Tuesday, June 14th, and will reveal his running mate Wednesday.

According to party sources, the governors and other stakeholders also agreed that the NorthEast should be the candidate for Vice President. Tinubu may settle for a Muslim running mate.

Atiku, on the other hand, is expected to reveal his running mate Tuesday. However, it is not known from which section of the religious divide Atiku will choose his running mate.

Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had previously set June 17th as the deadline for political parties to submit presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2023 general election.
