While narrating her ordeal after been robbed by attackers, the victim stated that she was using the ATM at a service station and she had been distracted from the defendant while his accomplices stole her ATM card. 

As the suspects ran towards a brown Toyota Corolla, she cried for assistance as passersby got hold of one of the suspect while his accomplices fled into their getaway vehicle.

The mob demanded the defendant hands over the bank card and  he informed them that it was not in his possession which led them beating him up.  



The defendant was severely injured during the assault.

He had been put under arrest and handed over to Police for further investigation.
