Afrobeat musician and label proprietor Davido has responded to his recent nods for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The nominations for the 2024 Grammys have been unveiled, featuring Davido, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, and more among the nominees.

Just a month ago, Davido formally entered his musical creations for possible recognition at the 2024 Grammy Awards. This disclosure emerged through Joey Akan, a well-known music aficionado and podcaster, who highlighted the various categories where Davido's work stands as a contender.

The list of nominations was released after this, and Davido has bagged three nominations, namely, Global Music Performance, Global Music Album, and African Music Performance nominations.

Davido has taken to his X page to react to the nominations. He tweeted, “3 nominations at the Grammys! Delay is not denial!!”
