 Donald Trump was arrested in New York. This makes him the first sitting or former president of the United States to be arrested. On Tuesday, April 4, he surrendered to the Manhattan grand jury in New York to face the extraordinary criminal charges that could derail his 2024 presidential campaign. According to the sealed indictment, the 76-year-old is charged with more than 30 counts of corporate fraud. The most serious one involves allegedly paying hush money to Stormy Daniels a p0** actress. Donald Trump wore a dark blue suit with a red tie and showed no emotion as he waved at the crowd outside the courthouse. When he departed from the Trump Tower, he held his fist in the air in a gesture to the reporters. |
