 NEF, the Northern Elders Forum has assured Nigerians, that Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, won't cause division if elected. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesman of NEF, also noted that Nigeria will not be divided if Obi fails in the 2023 presidential election. He stated that no presidential candidate could divide the country if he is elected in 2023. Baba-Ahmed was responding to a tweeter who claimed he was afraid that the LP presidential candidate would divide the country if he is elected president. @AnthonyAnya33 tweeted: "I understand your fear... he will split the country, but ask yourself: What if he loses? Do you think that the country will still remain one?" Baba-Ahmed responded by writing: "I'm afraid you're wrong on both counts. Obi is not going to divide the country if he runs for President. "The country won't split if Obi doesn't win either." |
