Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has reportedly chosen Pastor Isaac Idahosa to be his running mate in the 2023 elections.

This was disclosed by the party in a tweet via its Twitter handle Thursday, "Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa of Edo State."

Bishop Idahosa, who hails from Edo State, is Senior Pastor of God First Ministry (a.k.a Illumination Assembly).

The headquarters of the church is located in Lekki in Lagos State.

The man of God, a gospel singer, is well-known by his congregation as "Prophet Talk Na Do".

This was due to the party's inability to form an alliance for the presidential election with the Labour Party, LP.

During talks for an alliance, Kwankwaso, the LP presidential candidate had disagreed about who should be deputized.
