The ugly incident reportedly happened at a burial ceremony in Sapele area of Delta state as a police officer known as Imomoh slumped and died after being punched by happy trigger soldier who was shooting sporadically at the event.

Based on reports, a bunch of soldiers had been shooting in the air repeatedly at the burial event when the policeman who was in a mufti moved to  those soldiers and told them to quit shooting at the event because it's dangerous.

The soldier without ideas of knowing he was a police allegedly struck the police officer in the chest.

It was gathered that, the policeman wanted to fight back but was controlled by other people at the burial.

As he was departing the scene, he slumped and died in the place. On seeing what had happened, the trigger happy soldiers fled the crime scene.
