Fidelis Iruedo who allegedly defrauded his victim has been detained by the EFCC for scamming a United Kingdom citizen of #30,000 in a romance and Love parol.
The 31yr old was arrested, following one Alan Digweed made a petition to the Commission from the Nigerian High Commission, London, alleging that the defendant had defrauded his prey of the stated amount of cash.

Investigations by the EFCC revealed that Iruedo, who voluntarily confessed to the crime, met his victim between July and December 2017, via a date website, match.com.

The suspect, while parading as a woman, secured British passport with the name 'Tracy Anderson' with which he had to defraud the victim.

He had been detained in Abuja, through an effort to generate withdrawal at a bank.
On arrest, things recovered from him include: many scam letters, 3 flash drives, 1 iphone and a computer.

The suspect will be arraigned in court anytime soon.
