We reported few days ago on how Mavin Records acts, Reekado Banks declined a call to perform at a wedding reception in Benin after receiving N2 million fee and the case was later reported to Ogba Area G police station.

The most recent update on the case now according to the Circle of Uwa Igbinedion who took the matter to the police is that Reekado Banks and his team refused to repay the money, saying he incurred "logistical costs" despite not honoring the deal.

Following repeated invitations by the authorities which Reekado Banks reportedly refused to honour, his brother/Manager, Temi, was arraigned before a court in Ikeja after which he had been remanded into the Kirirkiri Maximum Prison, even as the singer remains at large.

Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned until the 19th of February 2018, we will keep you posted.
