Information gathered revealed that Mrs Gift Nnonye Ukatu, a housewife have been detained for 13 years by the Lagos State High Court for human trafficking.

Mrs Ukatu was detained in 2015 following hint off by worried citizens after she'd haboured two teenagers under the age of 12 as she endulged them in domestic work and enslavement.

Ukatu was billed on a 6 count of habouring two girls and forcing them to Labour and enslavement.

Mrs Ukatu was reported to have jumped bail but was later rearrested and re arraigned in 2016 in which she pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The presiding judge, Justice Kudy Jones sentence Mrs Ukatu to 13 years imprisonment.
