The Niger state Commissioner of Police, Dibal Yakadi, on Firday said gunmen kidnapped seven people in Munya Local Government area of the state.

Information gathered revealed that two brothers, Alhaji Garba Yakassai and Alhaji Umar Yakassai and others were kidnapped on two different occasions according to Yakadi.

Garba and Umar were kidnapped in a Toyota Corolla car with registration number YAB 669 GB as the car was left on a bush path.

The victims identities is yet to be ascertained as particular squad, cellular policemen and the police in Sarkin Pawa was drafted to the bush to rescue the them.

Yakadi, nevertheless, called on citizens of the neighborhood council to offer useful advice that would Help out with the rescue of the victims he said.
