Taking to his official verified Instagram account, Zubby Michael expressed his sorrow over Junior Pope's death, acknowledging that it's something he felt compelled to do. Alongside a picture of the late actor, he wrote, "It's hard to bid farewell, Nwanne."

This action contrasts with earlier reports suggesting that Zubby had distanced himself from his colleague and might bear some responsibility for his demise.
