“Why you should not get involved in people’s problems” – Yemi Alade by jadoo51(m) : 2:04 pm On Apr 17 |
In a recent development, afrobeat artist Yemi Alade emphasized an important cautionary message, advising against meddling in other people's affairs. She warned that consistent interference could lead one to inadvertently become a problem rather than a solution. "Becoming too entangled in others' issues may eventually cast you as a nuisance in their eyes," she stated. Recalling events from March, Yemi Alade previously confronted a well-known blogger for disseminating falsehoods about her personal life. Her frustration stemmed from an alleged interview that circulated widely, purportedly containing remarks about her struggles in the music industry. Allegedly, she mentioned facing obstacles in winning awards in Nigeria due to her refusal to engage in inappropriate behavior. Additionally, she reportedly commented on the murky aspects of the Nigerian music scene, despite her songs achieving high streaming numbers on platforms like YouTube. Disheartened by the persistent misinformation, Yemi Alade called out the blogger for fabricating stories whenever they ran out of content. She also called out the blog for being stupid and unintelligent. In her Instagram story, she revealed how she had been surprised when she read the “supposed” things that she had to say, calling the bloggers a couple of rumor mongers of false news. In her words, this is what she had to say. |
