Controversial street rapper Portable Omolalomi faces criticism after commenting on tracks from Shallipopi's latest album, causing his own "Tony Montana" track to slip from the top spot to tenth.

This controversy ensued after Shallipopi released his second studio album titled "Shakespopi," featuring nine tracks.

Portable, whose collaboration with British singer Skepta had dominated the "Apple Music Top 100: Nigeria chart" for weeks, found himself displaced by all nine tracks from Shallipopi's album.

Expressing his dismay, the street rapper accused his younger counterpart of artificially boosting his chart position through stream farming, alleging that Shallipopi's tactics were not genuine.

Portable further asserted that his own song and career hold greater authenticity and merit compared to Shallipopi's purportedly manipulative efforts.

“Oh boy, make you rest; man pass man o. Before you could remove my song, you had to drop an album. Your song does not have meaning, is that a song? Can’t you praise God? Can’t you sing good? I am the landlord and I am still going back to number one,” he said in part.
