Olayode Juliana recounts a notable gesture of compassion from Funke Akindele, revealing how the actress selflessly emptied her bank account to cover the cost of Juliana's mother's fibroid treatment.

Following the passing of Jumoke Aderounmu, a cast member of Funke Akindele's production "Jenifa's Diary," Akindele faced criticism for allegedly neglecting Aderounmu's plea for assistance.

Aderounmu's brother claimed that Akindele failed to respond to their requests for aid while his sister was alive, only reaching out with messages after her passing.

Even though Funke Akindele has explained her own side of the matter, Jumoke’s brother insists that she is not a good person.

Olayode Juliana who also acted in the popular film show took to her Instagram to defend Funke Akindele while sharing how much kindness she has shown behind the scenes.

She wrote;

My mum would have died of fibroid years ago, had you not emptied your account to make sure that she was taken to a private hospital and treated immediately.

You do a lot of good but you don’t post about it, you don’t do it for publicity, a lot of people are on your payroll, and you have done so much an Instagram caption would not be enough to talk about it.
