The contentious artist known as Portable has voiced his criticism towards his former protégé, Young Duu, who recently attempted to apologize in a leaked chat after previously lambasting his mentor publicly.

In the leaked screenshots, the street singer Portable shared conversations with Young Duu, who had privately reached out to express remorse for his past behavior towards his mentor.

Despite Young Duu's attempt to make amends, Portable remained skeptical, viewing the apology as insincere. Having harbored lingering resentment from their fallout, Portable accused Young Duu of exploiting their past relationship.

He criticized the budding artist for seemingly attempting to tarnish his reputation despite Portable's instrumental role in launching his career.

Portable recalled instances where Young Duu had unjustly criticized him and attempted to damage the reputation of Portable's label.

In his words, “I think them don use you finish. You disgrace who light your fire. You swear for me wey I no do you anything just because I want to change your life. You spoil my label name. Now see where you dey. You really do me wrong. No chance for foolishness. After I help your life you come out talk say I no do you anything. Dey your day no come use your own spoil our own.”
