Nollywood star Yomi Fabiyi has joined the ranks of celebrities expressing solidarity with embattled crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky.

Via his Instagram account, Yomi posted a picture of Bobrisky, affirming that he is keeping Bobrisky in his thoughts and prayers. He assured Bobrisky that the challenges he's facing will eventually subside, and encouraged him to remain resilient.

Early this week, Kemi Filani reported that the crossdresser had been arrested at Pinnock Estate, in Lagos State on April 3, 2024, at 3 pm.

A spokesperson identified as Dele Oyewale had exclusively revealed to Linda Ikeji Blog, the cause of his arrest, claiming that he was arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.

During his court hearing on Friday where he pleaded guilty to Naira abuse, he pleaded with the court and judge to give him another chance.

He promised that he would make good use of his platform to inform and educate his followers about spraying money as he begged the judge to tamper justice with Mercy. Unfortunately, the judge didn’t excuse his bad behavior and reserved his case till April 9th.
