Davido, the acclaimed Afrobeat sensation, recently revealed an intriguing anecdote about his early days in the music industry. He disclosed that he had set up a recording studio within his family home, unbeknownst to his father, Adedeji Adeleke.

During an interview, Davido reflected on the burgeoning success of Nigerian artists and acknowledged the sacrifices made by those who came before him.

He recounted how, despite living under the same roof, his father remained unaware of the studio's existence due to the expansive nature of their house, boasting over 20 rooms.

Davido attributed his ability to keep the studio hidden to his father's routine of retiring directly to his room after work.

The "Unavailable" singer went on to share insights into his educational journey, mentioning his transition from a college in Tennessee to one in Alabama. Despite being born in Atlanta, his father, determined to keep him focused, discouraged him from attending school there.
However, the school Davido attended in Alabama who really musically inclined. At the end of the day, he had to leave school because all the artists back home were blowing up and he needed to be a part of that.
