In a recent development, she vented her frustrations on X (formerly Twitter), targeting fans who persistently push for a change in her musical direction.

After the release of her latest single for 2024, 'All I Want,' which retained similar cadences and light-hearted lyrical themes from her previous work, some fans criticized its repetitive nature and called for a stylistic evolution.

An exasperated Simi took to X to voice her discontent, asserting her firm stance on maintaining her signature sound and advising detractors to explore other artists if her music no longer resonates with them.

She vehemently denied accusations of repetition in her repertoire, highlighting the diversity exhibited in her last ten singles.
