Popular Nigerian musician, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, widely known as Bella Shmurda, recently disclosed the reason behind his decision to stop smoking weed.

During an interview on the UK-based "In My Opinion" podcast, the singer was asked to share a personal detail that might surprise listeners.

In response, Bella Shmurda revealed that he no longer indulges in smoking weed, also known as Igbo. He elaborated on his decision, explaining that he used to smoke but chose to quit due to anxiety and concerns about the future.

The musician emphasized that he made the decision to quit smoking four years ago and has since only consumed cigarettes and alcohol

In response to the question of whether or not smoking weed helped him be more creative, as many have theorized, he said that it was different for him.
