Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, is causing a stir on social media after reportedly spending millions of naira on numerous Rolex wristwatches for his team.

The information surfaced in a video shared on social media by @OlamideOfficial, an X user.

The video showed someone unboxing several Rolex wristwatches, but the singer's face was not visible in the footage.

Meanwhile, the caption of the video which reads: “only one Wizkid” made it clear the supposed wristwatches were purchased by the singer, while the caption of the post claimed the said watches were purchased by the singer for his teammates.

However, concerned individuals have stormed the comment page of the post to share their thoughts in reaction to the expensive purchase.
