Renowned actor Yul Edochie issued an apology to his congregation after he was unable to conduct a live broadcast service on Sunday, just days after he was photographed drinking beer with his second wife, Judy Austin.

The incident sparked criticism from social media users who questioned Edochie's role as a self-ordained pastor following the images of him consuming alcohol.

Edochie, known for leading the True Salvation Ministry, typically hosts the live Sunday service for his followers but was unable to do so this past Sunday.

He turned to his social media platform to express regret and offer an apology to his congregation, attributing the failure to unforeseen challenges.

He wrote …

“Greetings to all members of True Salvation Ministry worldwide.
We sincerely apologize for not holding our live broadcast today.
This was due to some unavoidable challenges.
But they have been sorted out.
Thank you for your understanding.
