 Nine individuals are reportedly unaccounted for following a landslide that struck a gold mine in eastern Turkey on Tuesday. Numerous emergency responders have been dispatched to aid in the search and rescue operations. Video footage captured by eyewitnesses depicts a deluge of soil cascading through the valley in the mountainous Erzincan region. Concerns have been raised regarding the potential spread of cyanide stored within the mine, which could pose contamination risks to nearby areas. |
