Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has taken a swipe at his fellow actor Yul Edochie following Yul's public criticism of his first wife, May Edochie.

Yul Edochie recently called out his wife, May, demanding reimbursement for the bride price he paid when they tied the knot.

In response, Uche Maduagwu criticized Yul, accusing him of lacking an understanding of Igbo culture and suggesting that his hasty airing of such matters on social media showcased ignorance.

Uche also asserted that Yul Edochie seemed confused about his spirituality. Additionally, he questioned Yul's concern about May Edochie dropping his last name before their divorce was finalized.

Uche pointed out that there is no legal obligation for a woman to relinquish her ex-husband's last name, even if she played a role in his success.
