In a recent interview and on her podcast titled "Spillwithphyna," Phyna from Big Brother Naija opened up about her challenging upbringing, addressing the turmoil that ensued when her father publicly expressed feelings of abandonment by her and other family members.

She revealed that a significant majority of her family members, over 98%, exhibited a sense of entitlement, creating ongoing stress in her life.

Phyna went into detail about the consistent demands from her extensive family, especially intensifying after her Big Brother victory, making it challenging for her to find respite.

The recent social media rant from her father added another layer of difficulty to her already challenging circumstances. Compounding these issues, recent reports highlighted Phyna's disclosure on Doyin's Corner podcast, where she shared losing a substantial 17 brand deals due to controversies and scandals surrounding her.

One particular incident involved false accusations of abuse after media and blogs incorrectly reported her slapping Groovy over a business deal. The repercussions of social media trolling took a toll on her professional collaborations, resulting in a significant loss of brand deals.

Also, recall that a recent controversy emerged when a wig vendor accused Phyna of failing to return a rented wig. Screenshots circulated, revealing negotiations for a reduced price rather than the return of the wig.

Addressing the situation, Phyna expressed weariness at the constant online criticism, labeling the accuser a “clout chaser” and urging for more responsible behavior.

In an Instagram live video, Phyna went on to claim that she doesn’t know the accuser and suggested her management team might have handled the transaction without her knowledge, painting the woman as a potential blackmailer.
