Nigeria Ministry of Finance borrows $5.6 million from World Bank

The Nigeria Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning has acquired $5.6 million loan from the World Bank according to sources.

The Nigeria Ministry of Finance loan was acquired to take care of office expenses like the purchase of stationery, office furnitures and fittings and cars.

The acquisition of these items are in line with World Bank guidelines spanning from February 2019 to August 2020.

Nigeria is top of the list for recipients of World Bank loans in 2022.

Nigeria allegedly received $2.9 billion in 2022.
