Renowned musician Davido expresses his delight as internationally acclaimed Barbadian-American singer Rihanna declares his track, 'Unavailable,' as her song of the year.

Earlier reports highlighted a viral video showcasing the Barbadian superstar dancing to Davido's 'Unavailable.' The song gained significant adoration and streaming numbers throughout the year.

Rihanna openly acknowledged this during an interview with Complex at a recent event for her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper.

When asked to identify her top two songs of the year, the mother of two dismissed the notion of being an album enthusiast. Instead, she enthusiastically named Davido's 'Unavailable' and 'Mnike' by Tyler ICU and Tumelo as her chosen songs of the year.

“Album of the year? Am I an album girl? Or am I a streaming single girl?

“‘Unavailable’ [by Davido featuring Musa Keys] on repeat. That and ‘Mnike’ [by Tyler ICU and Tumelo] are my song of the year.”

Following this, the DMW boss reacted to the recognition of the highly decorated singer.

Davido who found this to be a great honor, reacted by quoting the video with the words: “My Ri Ri.”
