During a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, Alade expressed her belief that the new release would set the tone for the remainder of the year and extend into 2024.

In her latest EP, 'Mamapiano,' Alade showcases her well-established musical prowess as she explores the Amapiano genre. Amapiano, derived from the Nguni language and loosely translated as "the pianos," is a sub-genre of house music originating from South Africa in the mid-2010s.

It combines elements of deep house, jazz, and lounge music, characterized by synths and expansive percussive basslines.

Alade shared that she successfully experimented with four new tracks, each carrying infectious rhythms and melodies suitable for any occasion.
