Bella recently shared her frustration with constant criticism regarding her appearance, voice, and accent, emphasizing her Nigerian identity and the need to be accepted as she is.

The incident unfolded when Bella posted a video of herself and her boyfriend, Sheggz, singing along to a song on her Instagram and Snapchat stories. A different individual shared this video on Twitter, seemingly mocking Bella's voice in the caption.

Responding to the tweet, Bella sent a direct message expressing her deep hurt and frustration. In her message, she invoked curses on the user's future children, emphasizing that despite any future success and family the user might have, her offspring would face challenges in their ability to speak.

Bella, who was crying as she typed, claimed that this curse was sent with intense emotional suffering.

She wrote: “For the first time, I will pray for a stranger from the bottom of my heart. You will have money, You will get married, you will even have kids but one of your kids won’t be able to speak. won’t have a voice. You will fly that child round the world seeking a solution but you won’t find. Mark my words today. Typed this with tears in my eyes and so shall it be.
