Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, earned accolades as he was spotted in the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos, carrying out an outreach to children in the neighborhood and fulfilling his commitment to donate 100 million naira for Christmas.

On Monday, December 11, the artist pledged to contribute the sum of 100 million naira to children in various parts of the country for the Christmas celebration.

Although specific details about the distribution process were not disclosed by Wizkid, he has been observed in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, accompanied by his security personnel.

Earlier, he had announced that he would initiate the cash distribution in Surulere on the specified day.
