Singer Buju has ignited a discussion on Twitter by addressing club owners for their sale of counterfeit drinks. In a recent rant, Buju voiced his dissatisfaction, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the well-being and finances of customers.

He insisted on the provision of genuine and authentic drinks in clubs, asserting that the substitution of authentic products with fake alternatives is unacceptable.

Buju took it a step further by threatening to publicly expose any club persisting in such malpractices, even hinting at the possibility of seizing the microphone from the club's hype man to convey his message.

“Stop selling us fake drinks after spending so much money on the overpriced drinks. You’re kiling us.

Respect my health, Respect my money. Give me what I pay for. If you don’t have it, don’t bring a fake one!

The next club or lounge that does this to me, I promise i will take that microphone from the hypeman and let you know!”

This resonated with many of Buju’s followers, who shared similar experiences in the comment section. They recounted instances of being sold overpriced, fake drinks.

Recall also that back In August, he advised men to engage in romantic encounters with someone else’s girlfriend at least once a year. This unconventional and provocative suggestion on cheating sparked discussions and a range of reactions from his audience.

Also some months back , Buju known for his support for Burnaboy also supported him on his views on the Afrobeat genre. Aligning with Burnaboy’s opinion that many Afrobeat artists lack substance, Buju expressed agreement and noted his surprise at the fact that so many people misinterpreted Burna Boy’s statement.
