Oladips tenders apology to Nigerians over ‘fake death’ by jadoo51(m) : 4:11 am On Dec 09, 2023 |
Nigerian artist Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, widely known as Oladips, has issued an apology to the Nigerian public for the recent death hoax orchestrated by his management. During an interview with Naija FM, he sought forgiveness, clarifying that there was a misunderstanding and that he had not orchestrated his own demise or engaged in any prank. The rapper acknowledged his genuine illness but expressed remorse for his management's dissemination of false information. Oladips disclosed that he had been taken advantage of by his management and committed to hiring professionals to handle such matters in the future. He stated: "To Nigerians and my loyal followers, I would never toy with people's emotions in that manner. It was not a prank; I was genuinely unwell. I sincerely apologize for the confusion, the false alarm, and everything. I take full responsibility. Moving forward, I will ensure that I am surrounded by professionals because I believe that's where the issue originated. I've faced various challenges, including my manager misappropriating my funds and expressing ill wishes towards me." So, it got to a point where I didn’t even have manager again. It was just me and my boys. Right now, I’m just trying to select the right people and make sure that they are professionals that know the right thing to do. No be person wey because he no hear from my mum, he feel like, ‘Ah! This guy don go [die]. If he [my manager] was a professional person he would not do such. That is why I said I take full responsibility. So, I’m really sorry. Make una forgive me abeg.” |
