The management of Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known by his stage name ‘Oladips,’ a Nigerian rapper, recently declared him dead, however he was actually unconcious for three days.

He emphasized that “traditional rites” were carried out to resuscitate him and insisted that his circumstances were real, despite rumours to the contrary.

Oladips stated, “My teammates were pounding me while I was unconcious and since I wasn’t responding, they assumed I was dead. My mum instructed them to bring me to her instead of the hospital.”

“I spent two or three days in a coma. I visited a hospital, but it wasn’t your typical hospital, its common knowledge that I am a son of the soil.”

I will not pretend, therefore. I was given a few traditional ceremonies to help me feel better, my mum tried everything to save my life.” Oladips said.
