 After winning the Player of the Year award from the Italia Footballers Association award (AIC), Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen expressed gratitude to his friends, family and supporters. The Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen was declared the winner of the prestigious Italia Footballers Association award on Monday night. The 24-year-old celebrated receiving the personal award online. “Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters for your votes and unwavering support, and thank you to @GranGalaAIC for the recognition and honours. In his X page (foremerly Twitter), he stated, “God is the Greatest.” The forward has suffered an injury this season despite but still has six goals to his name. His 26 goals last season propelled Napoli to their first Serie A title popularly called Scudetto since 1990. |
