Toke Makinwa, a well-known media personality in Nigeria, revealed that as a child, her parents perished in a fire.

According to her, the experience still scares her the most.

Toke Makinwa made this statement while hosting comedian Ayo Makun, also known as AY, on the most recent episode of her podcast.

When Toke inquired about a recent fire at the comedian’s home in Lagos, she related a similar event from many years ago.

“I’ve been a victim of a house fire since I was a kid, and unfortunately, both my parents died as a result of that. That’s one of my biggest fears,” Makinwa revealed.

AY answered, “I apologize for it, this is something I’ve never heard of before.

On the day of the incident, I discovered that I had missed roughly 78 calls. I then noticed my house was on fire on Instablog page.

“My Thanksgiving’s point was that my family was on vacation.”
