Renowned Nigerian stand-up comedian Helen Paul, often recognized as Tatafo, emotionally moved many as she recounted her life journey.

The esteemed actress posted a video on her Instagram, opening up about grappling with rejection and transforming it into a source of strength.

Helen Paul disclosed the challenges she faced due to being conceived from an act of rape, recounting how her aunties constantly reminded her of her tainted origins, asserting that she carried "bad blood" and should not benefit from her grandmother's support.

Tatafo shared the story of being named Helen and having an unknown man's name attributed to her due to her family's belief that she brought shame upon their name.

In the video, Helen Paul encouraged her followers to persist and not succumb to the stigma imposed by those close to them, revealing her personal journey from a comedian in Nigeria to achieving the status of a professor in the United States.

The comedian would now be addressed as Professor Paul Helen.

To add to her feat, the actress was appointed as the news HOD Department of Arts, Music, and Entertainment at Heart International University USA.

Her husband, Femi Bamisele also bagged a Doctorate degree in law.
