Renowned singer Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, has revealed her battle with a life-threatening throat infection. The entertainer, Teni, shared that while working on her second album, "Tears of the Sun," she was confronted with a potentially fatal throat ailment.

This health challenge emerged just a few months after she candidly discussed her weight-loss journey with her fans.

Teni went on to explain that after experiencing multiple instances of temporary voice loss, medical experts advised a significant surgical procedure to prevent the risk of permanent vocal damage.

However, in September, Teni was admitted to the hospital due to recurrent exhaustion. She chose not to undergo the surgery and instead opted for medical treatment. Teni also shared a video documenting her hospital experience.

Towards the end of the clip, the singer assured her fans that her new album, “Tears Of The Sun”, is heartfelt and would be out on the 17th of this month. She added that one of her singles “Malaika” is her song of gratitude to God. She captioned the post:
