Prominent Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has expressed her solidarity by visiting the ailing actor, Mr. Ibu, who underwent a leg amputation yesterday.

In response to the news of her fellow actor's leg amputation, Rita shared a video on Monday in which she can be seen at the hospital. Stella Maris Okafor, Mr. Ibu's wife, warmly appreciated the actress for her visit.

In the video, Rita can be heard offering heartfelt prayers for the actor and his family, with Mr. Ibu's wife responding with repeated "Amen" to her petitions.

Captioning the video, Rita Edochie wrote: “I went to see Ibu John Okafor at Evercare Hospital Lekki Phase 1. He is doing well but all we owe him is to keep praying for him.”

Ibu’s daughter, Jazmine, revealed on October 31 that the actor’s health had improved after five fruitful procedures.

But Jazmine revealed on Monday, November 6, that the actor had to have his leg amputated following a total of seven surgeries.
