These are challenging days for Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mimi Orjiekwe, as she mourns the loss of her cherished father, Ozo Dr. Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe.

In a press release posted on her Instagram account, it was revealed that her father passed away on November 4th, 2023, while surrounded by his family after a short illness.

The family expressed that mere words cannot adequately convey the depth of their sorrow over his passing and the profound sense of loss they will endure.

“With gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing unto glory of our dearly beloved father, brother, husband, and uncle, Ozo Dr. Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe (OCHENDO) after a brief Illness.

He was surrounded in his last earthly hours by his loving family that fateful November 4, 2023, a day we shall never forget!

Daddy, words alone cannot express the extent of the hurt we feel following your transition, and how badly we shall miss you!

In her caption, Mimi expressed how relieved she is knowing he is in a better place now.
