Veteran Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor has turned to social media for support, revealing his current state of paralysis. In a video shared online, the seasoned actor disclosed that he had suffered a stroke, resulting in his current paralyzed condition.

Speaking from his hospital bed, he explained his complete dependence on assistance for movement.

Amechi recounted that approximately seven months ago, he was wrapping up a movie shoot with fellow colleagues, including Patience Ozokwo, Rita Edochie, Emeka Ani, Ebele Okaro, and others. As he was preparing to get into his car, he experienced a stroke, and his health has been deteriorating ever since.

He expressed his gratitude that the stroke didn't occur while he was behind the wheel, as it could have been fatal. Amechi was swiftly admitted to a hospital in Nnewi, where he spent two months before being transferred to a teaching hospital, where he has been for three months.

He has reached out to the public for financial assistance, citing the depletion of his resources due to mounting hospital bills and medication costs.

His plea comes only a week after his colleague, Mr. Ibu, also asked for help from the hospital where he is currently fighting an ailment that could lead to the amputation of his leg.

May the Almighty God have mercy on him and come to his help and rescue.
