Former BBNaija contestant, Erica Nlewedim, has advised women to be cautious when it comes to men who may not be as successful as they are.

She shared this advice in response to the heart-wrenching story of Patience Patra Idehen, the founder of Face of Beauty Nigeria, whose husband left her when she could no longer support their family financially.

Patra got married to her spouse while she was still a student at the University of Benin, and her beauty brand was already generating a significant income at the time.

She ended up being the sole provider for the family because her husband was just a regular student with no income.

Their relationship began in 2017, and they tied the knot in 2018 while still in school. They later welcomed two children. However, everything took a turn for the worse when Patra started losing everything she had, including her source of income.

Her husband abandoned her with their two children and she has to beg to feed them.

Reacting to this, the reality star advised ladies to beware of men that are poorer than them.

She noted that these partners always tend to be jealous and seeking ways to humble you.

She wrote; “Men not doing as well as their partners are always jealous, and look for ways to humble you. Ladies beware!”

Erica’s colleague, Kim Oprah also reacted saying, “Very scary shit, and it happens more often than we know.”
