Czech President Petr Pavel inadvertently dislodged a soldier's hat when he accidentally made contact with the soldier's head using a flagpole during a commemorative event in Prague.

The soldier maintained his stance of attention during the ceremony and did not exhibit any reaction.

Following the incident, President Pavel extended an apology to the soldier on a social media platform, stating, "My actions were in no way an attempt to introduce a novel aspect into the conventional military protocol. I underestimated the weight of the flagpole."
