A journalist, who wishes to remain anonymous, has claimed that Davido and his team have reached a mutual agreement to settle at least half of the debt owed to Abu Salami.

As a reminder, the renowned artist Davido has faced criticism from a businessman who asserts that he paid him a substantial N218 million to contribute to a children's project, but Davido failed to fulfill his part of the deal.

Abusalami, an individual on Instagram, revealed that the singer reneged on the agreement, refused to refund the money, and reportedly faced legal action from the businessman and the singer's attorneys.

He shared on his Instagram page that he had already paid the singer 218 million naira out of a 326 million naira project. He explained that he was supposed to travel to twenty states on a specified date with an eleven-member production crew to scout young and talented football players exclusively for the children.

In an update circulating online, a Twitter blogger has disclosed that Abu and Davido have reached an understanding to pay half of the N218 million after they formally sign an agreement.
