Nigerian singer and songwriter, Skales, has revealed that he and his family are now living in constant fear. He claimed that his fear for his life began when agents from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) unlawfully entered his home.

It's worth noting that Skales had previously accused the EFCC of invading his residence, a claim that turned out to be false.

In a recent interview on the Terms & Conditions podcast, Skales emphasized that his sense of security has diminished significantly. He explained that he has been receiving threats since he publicly criticized the anti-corruption agency.

The “Shake Body” singer claimed that while he is clean, he is still able to go about freely. He said that his artist, who was taken into jail during the raid, is still there.

In his words,

“The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.

My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.

They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life. I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”
