A Twitter user named Debbie has publicly criticized Mercy Eke, a former contestant on BBNaija, for an outstanding debt of one million Naira after the show's conclusion. During a discussion on Twitter, Debbie accused Mercy Eke and her sister of failing to fulfill their commitment to pay her one million Naira for the purchase of premium voting support.

The lady claimed that Mercy Eke's sister, Promise, had been issuing threats in response to her decision to speak out. She revealed that Promise adamantly refused to settle the debt because her sister did not emerge as the show's winner, finishing in second place.

Furthermore, some fans also revealed that Mercy Eke had left behind four million Naira to purchase votes in an attempt to secure her victory in the competition.

Recall that the sister of Mercy Eke came out to drag the production of BBNaija after her sister came as the second. According to Mercy’s sister, Promise, hard work was put in by herself and the mercenaries so the reality star would win the show.
