Prominent artist Peter Okoye has shown his support for the Nollywood veteran, John Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, who is currently facing health issues.

In an Instagram post, Mr. P described Mr. Ibu as someone who has brought happiness to the lives of many and appealed to the public to assist him both financially and through their prayers.

In a heartfelt video, Mr. Ibu and his family appealed for donations and prayers for the veteran actor. He shared that his doctor had informed him that if further treatments for his medical condition proved unsuccessful, amputation of his leg might be necessary.

Mr. Ibu, who had reservations about this approach, requested prayers while expressing his concerns about how his life would be affected if he were to undergo amputation.
