Renowned reality TV personality, Ike Onyema, recently disclosed the rationale behind his decision not to attempt rekindling a romantic connection with Mercy Eke after their joint appearance on the 'BBNaija All Stars' edition.

This revelation came during his interview on the most recent episode of The Big Friday Show on Cool FM, where he was joined by fellow reality star, Tacha Akide.

Ike emphasized that he and Mercy Eke are better off maintaining a friendship rather than embarking on a romantic relationship.

He clarified that he didn't approach the influencer with the intention of reigniting their romantic involvement, as previous experiences involving other couples have demonstrated that such endeavors often do not yield positive results.
He said:

“I didn’t rekindle my relationship with Mercy in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars season because we are better off as friends. At least for me, I always feel like when you go back to an ex, you might not always get what you want.”
