 Tear gas was deployed against demonstrators in Ramallah, situated in the occupied West Bank. Protesters, who were expressing their opposition to the leadership of the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority (PA), engaged in clashes with Palestinian security forces. According to the AFP news agency, individuals in the crowd were demanding the resignation of PA President Mahmoud Abbas due to his handling of the conflict between Israel and his political rivals in Hamas, based in the Gaza Strip. |
