A Nigerian doctor known as Dr. Penking publicly voiced his criticism of the Afrobeat music sensation, Wizkid, regarding his behavior at his mother's funeral.

The renowned artist, who had been displaying a somber demeanor in the days leading up to the event, appeared to be in high spirits during his mother's burial ceremony on Friday.

A video that circulated online depicted Wizkid sitting alongside Oba Elegushi, engaging in laughter and light-hearted banter.

Expressing his strong disapproval of Wizkid's cheerful disposition, Dr. Penking took to X platform to raise questions about why someone who had recently lost their mother would exhibit such joviality at her funeral. He also pondered whether there might be undisclosed details regarding her passing.

“How can someone who just lost his mother be this happy. Is there something we don’t know?” he wrote.
