Sam Klef, a media personality and singer known for stirring controversy, recently ignited fresh debates within the Nigerian music industry by taking to Twitter.

In a rather enigmatic message, he suggested that Wizkid holds the top spot among Nigerian artists. Sam Klef's reasoning behind this assertion, as he explained, lies in the profound respect and admiration Wizkid garners from his peers.

This somewhat concealed jab was perceived as a direct reference to Davido, particularly following a brief online clash between the two just a day earlier. The source of their dispute stemmed from a video that surfaced, featuring Davido, his wife Chioma, and their twins.

Davido quickly noticed that Sam Klef was among the first to share the video and reached out, requesting its removal. Frustrated by the video's distribution, Davido branded Sam Klef as "wicked" for sharing what he considered highly sensitive content.

However, to Davido's dismay, Sam Klef declined to take down the video, going so far as to reveal that he had found it on Twitter, where an insider had already made it public.



In response, Sam Klef offered some advice to Davido, advising him to exercise greater caution and discernment in choosing the individuals in his inner circle.

This exchange resulted in Davido unfollowing and blocking Sam Klef, a move that clearly stung. As a consequence, Sam Klef unleashed a series of rants on social media.

Fast forward to today, and it is evident that Sam Klef has not cooled down. He woke up with an even more fierce stance boldly declaring that Wizkid occupies the top spot in the Nigerian music industry.

His statement was influenced by the star-studded attendance at the burial of Wizkid’s mother the previous day, where numerous celebrities paid their respects to the star.
